Hollywood with Laura

Hi there,

today I woke up at 8 A.M :) It becomes later and later :) Good thing ! Because Yesterday I almost slept on the bar !!! But let me tell you everything :)

So Laura, picked me up around 5 a home. She asked me what I wanted to do and I didn't really know. You know I like when people show me what they really like in their own city. So she brought me to the Hollywood sign. Holly crap, this was amazing !!! You know, it's not like a dream but it's one of the things you would like to do in your life and I was finally there !!! Gosh!

Those letters are really big !!! All the way to go up to the hill, there was such nice houses !!! Really big, with beautiful cars .... I saw some people who lived there, I think they were really rich !

So we went back to the city by the other side of the hill. It was really beautiful too, this side was more wild.

I saw my first Dog Park. You know we have stuff in the park for the children to play... They have the same but for dogs ! Look at this nice place only for dogs and their owners !
On the way back, we went through the Universal city !!!! It's on the San Fernando valley. It's totally north of the city ^^. This is the place where there is the Universal Studios and the Warner Bros Studios. I was so exited, because we were just talking and talking and I didn't know where we were and I turn me head and saw that

I will for sure come back there to make a tour of those Studios !!! I was really surprised because since the beginning I didn't saw so much tourists.

Then I went to buy cigarets and the guy asked me again for my age. But this time he also asked for my ID. I don't take my passport because there is my visa inside and if I loose it, that's sucks ! But I take my national and international driving license. He thought it was a fake and didn't let me buy cigarets !!! I was really unpleased you know ! So Laura bought cigarets for me.

Then we went to Dino's Burbank to eat Pizza and drink stella :) They asked me again for my age but this time the girl was very nice and let me drink beer :) The place so sweet, really american ! I loved it. You know pics of dogs on the wall, ...


So we took one medium pizza, one medium salad and one liter of stella :)

That was really really good but we couldn't eat everything so we made a doggy bag ^^

Then two guys (Todd and Bill) were talking about the world cup and they saw that I was listening to their conversation... They join us and offer us another half liter :) They were really American too and they were surprised to see a foreign in this small restaurant. We were kind of far from everything touristic. So we talked about soccer. Both were in France and one of them lived 6 months there so it was nice to talk with him. The other guy was playing piano. That was really nice. I told them that I was ashamed of the French Team ! That they were looser, blablabla and that now I'm for Germany. And I learned something yesterday ! There is a U.S. soccer team !!!! No kidding ! I thought they didn't play soccer ! I thought they were joking but they wasn't. That was really funny because usually it's the american who don't know anything about other countries and this time it was me :) Because sometimes they asked you really strange questions like "Is paris the main city of France" (my friend Allie !) or "Is Italy a part of France or a country" ... That's funny. Otherwise they know every states of the U.S. every river ...

So, let go back to the restaurant :) We drank, and drank, ... And we decided to go to another bar were they do homemade Beer. As you can imagine I wanted to try every kind of Beer. But they was really to many kind of beers and at the end I was really drunk. I couldn't speak english anymore. It was really funny. I was really tired and I was sleeping on the bar while the others were talking ^^ Laura was drunk too so we took her car and went back home. I came back and Hanz, Kristine's son was last minute studying. He saw me and was smiling ! So I went to bed I sept really well !

So today I've to buy a fucking SIM Card, I need it ! At 3 P.M. I've a meeting with another couchsurfer from L.A. Chris :) He has a Motocycle !!! I hope he's gonna give me ride !!!
